چکیده
Abstract Consider a scenario where quantum particle is initially prepared in some bounded region of space and left to propagate freely. After time, we verify if the has reached distant target region. We find that there exist ‘ultrafast’ (‘ultraslow’) states, whose probability arrival greater (smaller) than any classical same with momentum distribution. For both projectiles rockets, prove advantage, quantified by difference between optimal probabilities, limited Bracken-Melloy constant c bm , originally introduced study phenomenon backflow. In this regard, substantiate 29-year-old conjecture ≈ 0.038 proving bounds 0.0315 ≤ 0.072. Finally, show that, modified projectile initial position distribution also fixed, advantage can reach 0.1262.

The Quantum Backflow Effect
The quantum phenomenon of probability backflow is explored. This remarkable effect arises when considering the motion of a free particle in one dimension. For a state consisting only of positive momenta, it is possible for probability to flow in the opposite direction to the particle’s momentum. A comprehensive review of the literature and some new material is presented on the backflow effect, ...
متن کاملBackflow and Density Excitations in Quantum Fluids
By the use of the f sum rule and a separation of density excitations into single and multiple excitations, we derive exact quantum expressions for the ~ backflow contribution to the dynamic structure function S(k, co) and for the discrete single-excitation spectrum ok:. The derivation is carried out for Bose liquids, Fermi liquids, charged quantum liquids, quantum solutions, an impurity atom di...
متن کاملInfluence of Backflow on Roton Quantum Evaporation
Sobnack et al. recently investigated theoretically the effect of roton backflow on the scattering of atoms, rotons, and phonons at the free surface of superfluid helium-II at T = 0K. They treated backflow semi-phenomenologically by modifying the potential in their earlier theory. This paper compares their predictions for the wave-vector dependence of roton quantum-evaporation with time-resolved...
متن کاملA new approach to quantum backflow
We derive some rigorous results concerning the backflow operator introduced by Bracken and Melloy. We show that it is linear bounded, self adjoint, and not compact. Thus the question is underlined whether the backflow constant is an eigenvalue of the backflow operator. From the position representation of the backflow operator we obtain a more efficient method to determine the backflow constant....
متن کاملdevelopment of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles
a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
